Janet Billings is a recurring character on WB drama Gilmore Girls. She is portrayed by Katie Walder.

Janet is Rory, Paris, and Tanna's suite mate during Rory's first year at Yale. She is very athletic and often gets up in the early hours of the morning to go jogging, infuriating Paris. Janet attends Yale on a partial athletic scholarship.
She and Paris are the two alphas of the suite and often fight, increasingly when Janet's boyfriend is staying over, whom Paris insults, leading the two girls to exchange some harsh words.
Paris hugs Janet goodbye upon their parting ways at the end of their Freshman Year, which takes Janet completely by surprise. Janet also deals with the affections of Glenn Babble, whom she uses to catch a ride to Spring Break since her friends left earlier than she was available.
