- In the episode Kiss and Tell, Lorelai and Rory rent the movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and get junk food from Dooses, where Dean works, and Lorelai invites him to come watch the movie with them at their house.
- Also, in the episode Richard in Stars Hollow, Rory sees two young boys looking at a 'mature' video cover. She tells Kirk- who works there at the time- to move the video to a higher shelf. He tells Taylor, and they end up moving all of the videos except for movies such as Dumbo and Bambi behind a curtain, and hang Rory's picture in the window for censorship.
