To Live and Let Diorama is the 18th episode of Season 5 of Gilmore Girls.

Synopsis[]

The death of Old Man Twickham inspires Taylor (Michael Winters) to turn the deceased's house into a museum --- with Luke's (Scott Patterson) help; Rory (Alexis Bledel), Paris (Liza Weil) and Lane (Keiko Agena) drown their guy troubles in Miss Patty's punch; and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) has second thoughts after ranting about her mother (Kelly Bishop, who does not appear in the episode) in a magazine article on her inn. Carole King appears as a music-shop owner.
